First aid for outdoor instructors

Keeping your first aid qualifications up to date and compliant with national governing body (NGB) requirements can be a headache for outdoor instructors and youth leaders. There are so many different requirements, it is easy to make incorrect assumptions about whether a qualification does or does not tick all the boxes.

We've looked into the requirements of some of the major NGBs (see our FAQs) and it is clear that standard courses rarely meet the needs of an instructor who holds multiple qualifications from a range of organisations.

We therefore offer a modular course, based on the 'industry-standard' REC outdoor first aid course, but with an opportunity to gain regulated emergency first aid at work and forestry first aid qualifications as well as an RYA first aid certificate. Click on the modular option below for details.
