Miles is a Paramedic Trainer for Norwal Limited. He leads the delivery of the company's prehospital care courses as well as teaching first aid.
Miles has over fifteen years operational and management experience in an NHS Trust ambulance service. In 2015, he was awarded a Chief Officer's Commendation.
As part of an ambulance crew, as a solo rapid responder and as a city centre cycle responder, he deals with emergency situations on a daily basis and brings this real-life experience to his training.
He is actively involved with delivering the BSc in Paramedic Science at the University of East Anglia and mentoring student paramedics gaining frontline experience, making him perfectly placed to help you learn what to do while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
Miles has a background in Scouting, and enjoys climbing and kayaking among other outdoor activities.
