We think this course is unique because:
-
You can gain a 16-hour first aid qualification (which is often a requirement to keep your outdoor instructor qualifications up to date), comply completely with the RYA’s latest first aid requirements for sailing and powerboat instructors and get a regulated qualification that helps you fulfil an employer’s legal obligations under health & safety law in a wide range of workplaces, including the forestry sector.
-
We’ve designed it so that the majority of the training takes place out-of-doors unless the weather is so bad it would be miserable for everyone. We believe you can’t learn outdoor first aid indoors.
